1. Rigid road pavement.
The apron and the runway/taxiway are built with bending resistance 650psi concrete. The regulatory requirement of non-cracking quality adds to the difficulty of construction.
2. Hangar building.
The building is 98.1 m wide * 75 m deep (two buildings) and can house 12 black eagle and cobra attack helicopters; the helicopters land and get washed outdoors.
3. Scaffolding.
For this project, the safety and cost of construction follow the higher CNS (4750) standards.
